So what does an author do while waiting for their work to be published?

I don't know what other people do but I focus on my next title to keep my mind occupied while the marketing team dream up fun ways of letting people know that "Roxy to the Rescue" will be available for sale on November 4th.

Wishing everyone a happy Halloween. I'm here happily working on a new story based in Ancient Egypt, answering the door to trick or treaters and enjoying a nice glass of wine.
